Samsung Biologics to Attend BIO International Convention 2026

Samsung Biologics will exhibit at the BIO International Convention 2026, taking place in San Diego from June 22 to 25.

During the event, Samsung Biologics will meet with existing and potential clients to discuss development and manufacturing strategies supporting diverse modalities and showcase its end-to-end offerings spanning research, development, and commercial manufacturing.

The company will actively promote its global CDMO production capabilities and business expansion strategies through various session presentations, further expanding touchpoints with clients. On the second day of the event, Tuesday, June 23, James Choi, Executive Vice President and Head of Sales Support, will participate as a panelist in “Korea Rising: Don’t Be Late to Asia’s Next Innovation Hub.”

Samsung Biologics has continued to invest in capabilities that support both its clients and the broader biopharmaceutical ecosystem. Recent milestones include the expansion of its U.S. footprint through the addition of its Rockville campus, and the ongoing ramp-up of Plant 5 at Songdo Campus, which has brought the company’s total global manufacturing capacity to 845,000 liters.

On the research and development front, Samsung Biologics has been making strides in next-generation capabilities such as bioconjugation and organoid services, while also pursuing open innovation initiatives aimed at supporting emerging biotech companies. Through these efforts, Samsung Biologics seeks to contribute to a more resilient and collaborative industry environment while helping accelerate the development of future therapies.

Throughout the conference, Samsung Biologics representatives will also participate in industry discussions and share insights on trends and opportunities shaping the future of biopharmaceutical development and manufacturing.
