- If I register in the talent pool, Can I be flexible about CV/Resume formats?

Yes, Samsung Biologics welcomes various formats that can display the experience and ability of a candidate.
- Does the company provide staff transportation and housing?

Samsung Biologics provide shuttle services to and from work for residents of Incheon, Seoul and Gyeonggi province. For employees that live in areas without shuttle services, we provide staff residences. However, the qualification to live in these residences would depend on the availability of rooms and alternate means of transportation.
- Would Master's degree or Ph.D be considered as past work experience?

In accordance with internal policy, we do acknowledge Master's and Ph.D as work experience. Details will be shared during recruitment process.
- My past professional experience does not directly relate to the position I'm applying for. Would the respective experience be acknowledged?

Samsung Biologics acknowledges past experience based on the relevance to the job. Unfortunately, past experience with no direct relevance to the role being considered for will not be acknowledged.
- When do I submit necessary documents?

We ask for the applicant to prepare necessary document upon invitation for Executive Interview. The necessary documents will be notified beforehand.
- How would I know if a hiring decision has been made? (Would separate notification be sent to those that did not pass?)

- What if I need a visa?

Samsung Biologics sponsor visas depending on the requirements of the job and qualifications of the candidate. Please feel free to apply to any jobs you're qualified for. If the role is appropriate for visa sponsorship and you're qualified for the job, the recruiter will let you know how to proceed with the interview process.
- How can an applicant with past experience submit an application?

- If I'm currently working outside of Korea, how will the interview procedures take place?

After initial CV/Resume screening, we will conduct phone interviews. Afterwards, we will invite the applicant to Samsung Biologics Songdo Campus for an Onsite Interview.

- Can I submit the linguistic performance report after having submitted the application form first?

The linguistic certificates must be submitted with the application. Only the certificate scores attained within 2 years from the time of submission will be acknowledged.
- I have a previous record of having applied to Samsung Biologics. Am I allowed to submit my application again?

Yes, you definitely can. There is no limitation on the number of applications you can submit.

The recruitment procedures for the Open Hire are the same for both domestic and overseas candidates. Be sure to check for Open Hire announcement and submit your application.
- Can I submit an application to other subsidiary companies of Samsung Group concurrently?

No. You cannot apply for multiple openings within one company or across other Samsung affiliates at the same time.
- Where will I work if I successfully join the company?

You will be working at the Bio-Campus of Samsung Biologics located in Songdo, Incheon.
- I hold a Master’s degree. Where should I apply?

You can apply to Samsung Biologics' U-Level Open Hire Program. Your academic degrees will be recognized as the number of years on the job after review and deliberation as per our internal policies. Further details will be offered as you move further along the recruitment process.
- When do you recruit new staff, and how can I find out about this?

Samsung Biologics conducts Open Hire recruitment process twice a year (By Halves) and announcements will be posted on our website as well as Samsung Group’s careers website
