36 representatives from global and domestic investment institutions visited Samsung Biologics’ site in Songdo, Incheon on March 8th.
The investor’s high level of interests reflect expansion of global biotechnology business.
The event was held for major investment organizations that are interested in Samsung Biologics among global investment companies that are attending the Citi Korea Conference. It was 10th global event of this year.
Investors hear about the progress and the status of Samsung Biologics’ business. Then they took a tour of #2 VIP room at the plant number two, which has the world’s largest production capacity as a single plant. They also directly saw the No.3 plant under construction which will be the world’s largest with a bioreactor capacity of 180,000 liters.
On this day, the CEO Tae Han Kim presented ▲global supply/demand outlook for bio production capacity ▲Samsung Biologics’ competitiveness that are differentiated from its competitors ▲mid- to- long term vision of the company.
An investor who participated in the event said, “It is a good opportunity for us to be able to see Samsung Biologics’ differentiated competitiveness as well as its possibility for future growth.” Another investor added, “We are expecting the company to achieve its vision in the near future.”
