Samsung Biologics Sales and Profits in 2017
Samsung Biologics reported sales of 2017 reached 459.8 billion won.
It also posted 63 billion won in operating profit. Sales and operating profit
increased 56.1% by 165.2 billion won(YoY) and 307% by 93.4 billion won
(YoY) respectively.

2017 financial results are mainly caused by two factors below.
1) Productivity of its Plant 1 has improved further.
2) Production volume in its Plant 2 has increased
Samsung Biologics expects that the costs of preparing for the operation
at its Plant 3 which was completed last year will be reflected
in this year's results.
