Samsung Biologics Presents End-to-End CDMO Capabilities Across Major Global Biotech Events

Samsung Biologics will showcase its expanding end-to-end CDMO capabilities at four major conferences across Europe, Asia, and the U.S. this October, deepening engagement with industry leaders and partners across key global markets while highlighting its growing portfolio of services across biopharmaceutical development and manufacturing.

At CPHI Worldwide, taking place October 6–8 in Milan, Italy, Samsung Biologics will showcase its comprehensive CDMO offerings. The company will highlight its world-leading biomanufacturing capacity, global footprint, and advanced technologies in next-generation multi-modalities spanning early-stage development through commercial-scale manufacturing.

BioJapan is taking place October 7–9 in Yokohama, Japan, marking the company’s fourth consecutive year of participation to connect with partners across Japan and the broader Asia-Pacific region. During one of the event’s presentation sessions, James Choi, Executive Vice President and Head of Sales Support, will deliver a presentation titled “Meeting Evolving Biopharma Needs Through Integrated CDMO Services.” Following James’ presentation, Yeonjung Choi of New Modality Group will present research on “CFD-Driven Optimization of ADC Conjugation,” sharing how computational fluid dynamics can inform ADC conjugation process development and scale-up.


At World ADC San Diego, taking place October 12–15 in San Diego, Samsung Biologics will spotlight its growing ADC and bioconjugation capabilities. Marc Studer, Senior Director, ADC/mRNA Operations, will present "From Asset to Operation: Key Success Factors in ADC GMP Manufacturing Ramp-Up," sharing key strategic insights and operational frameworks for scaling complex antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) therapeutics into GMP production. Additionally, Jina Kim, Director, ADC Platform Discovery, and Segyu Oh of Organoid Technology will present their research on bispecific ADCs and patient-derived organoids through individual poster sessions.


Rounding out the month, Samsung Biologics will participate in Bioplus Interphex (BIX) Korea, taking place October 28–30 in Seoul, South Korea. The company will showcase its advanced manufacturing technologies and operational excellence. Taeheui Lee, Vice President, Antibody Purification Process Development, will present the company’s latest advancements in bispecific antibody development. 


Through its presence at these key industry events, Samsung Biologics will demonstrate the breadth of its scientific, technical, and manufacturing expertise while reinforcing its position as a leading global CDMO.
