Samsung Biologics at CPHI Milan, BIO Japan, World ADC 2026: Driving Global Partnership
October has been a busy month for Samsung Biologics, packed with opportunities to connect, collaborate, and share insights with industry peers around the world. Take a look at some of the highlights from our recent events, captured in photos. 😊
CPHI Milan 2026 (October 6-8)

Samsung Biologics joined CPHI Milan 2026 from October 6 to 8, connecting with clients and industry professionals at booth #6F68. Following the opening of our Amsterdam sales office earlier this year, the event provided another opportunity to strengthen our presence and partnerships across Europe.

To further enhance engagement with attendees, Samsung Biologics also introduced newly updated handy flyers featuring the latest business and service information.
BIO Japan 2026 (October 7-9)

Our global engagement continued in Japan, where Samsung Biologics participated in BIO Japan 2026 for the fourth consecutive year. Held from October 7 to 9, the event brought together industry leaders and innovators, providing a valuable platform for our team to connect with partners across Japan and the broader Asia-Pacific region.

Our experts also took the stage at two speaking sessions, highlighting our expanding capabilities and technical expertise. In his session, “Integrated CDMO Services Across Evolving Modalities,” James Choi, EVP & Chief Marketing Officer, highlighted our expanding global footprint – from our Rockville Campus to our Amsterdam office – and our broadened modality capabilities spanning AAVs, organoids, peptides, and integrated bioconjugate solutions.

Meanwhile, in “CFD-Driven Optimization of ADC Conjugation Scale-Up,” Yeonjeong Choi, Senior Scientist at New Modality MSAT, shared how Samsung Biologics leverages computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to de-risk complex ADC conjugation chemistry from bench to GMP scale.
World ADC 2026 (October 13-15)
Samsung Biologics continued to showcase its expanding capabilities in advanced modalities at World ADC 2026, connecting with ADC experts at booth #84 and exchanging insights on the latest developments in ADC development and manufacturing.

During a featured speaking session, Marc Studer, Senior Director and Head of ADC & mRNA Operations, presented key technical and operational considerations for successfully scaling ADC operations.

Our scientists also presented two posters highlighting our advances in bispecific ADC development and patient-derived organoid models for assessing ADC efficacy. In “Preclinical Evaluation of EFGR x c-MET Bispecific ADCs Enabled by Samsung Biologics’ Bispecific Antibody Platforms and a Novel Topoisomerase 1 Payload”, Jina Kim, Lead Scientist at ADC Platform Discovery, presented our bispecific ADC development. Meanwhile, Sekyu Oh, Lead Scientist at Organoids Technology, presented “Evaluating ADC Efficacy, Payload Delivery, and Bystander effect in Patient-Derived Organoids Using the Samsung Organoids Platform”, highlighting how our organoid platform can support more predictive evaluations of ADC performance.

And there’s more to come – Samsung Biologics will round out its busy October event calendar at Bioplus Interphex Korea (BIX) 2026. Stay tuned, as we continue connecting with industry partners and share our latest innovations.
