Bringing Families Closer: A Shared Journey of Care, Commitment, and Mission
Samsung Biologics is celebrating families with a series of Family Day events this month, inviting employees and their loved ones to experience firsthand the purpose and passion that drive Samsung Biologics forward. The event has expanded each year, and more than 6,500 family members are participating over the course of three days this year. It is part of the company’s broader efforts to foster an inclusive workplace culture and to show gratitude to families that are supporting our employees—the backbone of the company’s continuous growth.
From interactive activities to educational exhibits, families enjoyed a full day designed to strengthen their connection to the company’s mission. One program showcased Samsung Biologics “by the numbers,” highlighting its industry-leading 784,000 liters of manufacturing capacity. Another introduced the Samsung Biologics Way—the company’s culture built on mutual respect and a shared commitment to enhancing the value of life.
Participants toured the company showroom to gain a closer look at biomanufacturing facilities, while virtual reality (VR) stations provided an immersive experience of advanced technologies and employee training.
Family members also stepped into the shoes of employees by donning clean room gowns, capturing every moment at photo booths that were installed across the company, and writing letters to their future selves.
“This is my second time visiting Samsung Biologics. I can see how quickly the company is growing, and I am proud to see my daughter contribute to improving the quality of life for patients around the world,” said Myungae Kim, mother of Haewon Park from the Media Marketing Group.
The event also underscored the essential role families play in sustaining the company’s vision.
"Our employees have been able to dedicate themselves to saving lives, thanks to the unwavering support of their families," said John Rim, President and CEO of Samsung Biologics. "Building on this foundation, we will continue to work as One Team to foster an inclusive workplace and contribute to a healthier tomorrow."
