In celebration of World Quality Week 2025, Samsung Biologics hosted a series of activities across the company this month to reaffirm its commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement in biomanufacturing. The program engaged employees across functions to strengthen a company-wide quality mindset.
Aligned with this year’s theme, “Quality: Think Differently,” the event encouraged teams to re-examine conventional approaches to quality management and consider perspectives that sustain innovative value. A range of activities—including quizzes and collaborative art—stressed that quality is shaped collectively, from manufacturing and engineering to supporting units. By emphasizing how daily actions influence long-term project outcomes, the week reinforced quality as an ongoing, organization-wide effort.

The event also highlighted the company’s Good Documentation Practices (GDP) Coaching Program. Through a dedicated booth and session, the program underscored the importance of early inquiry and clear documentation, fostering an “ask-first” culture that helps address uncertainties before operational risks arise.
Sangwoo Na, Engineer in Purification and GDP Coach in the Operations Center, noted, “Through this program, we have become increasingly proactive in sharing insights and asking questions. Across sites, we exchange best cases and explore ideas that keep up consistent and efficient practices. We are building solutions together—refining approaches toward great clarity and stronger execution.”
Reflecting on the week, Woosang Lee from the Quality Center said, “Quality and efficiency are not opposing goals. They advance together when everyone takes ownership of their role with care and precision. That shared responsibility continues to cultivate quality excellence at Samsung Biologics.”

By encouraging participation and collective reflection, the program served as a reminder that quality goes beyond procedures or systems—it is embedded in the mindset, communication, and collaboration across all levels. With strengthened awareness across the company, Samsung Biologics maintains its commitment to delivering reliable biomedicines to partners and patients worldwide.
