 [ Samsung Biologics Presentation ]

· Title : A Strategy for Minimizing Lactate and pCO2 Accumulation in CHO Cell Culture Process

· Speaker : Yongho Ahn

· Date : July 7, 11:40 am - 12:05 pm

· Summary

 - Understand how to enhance the product titter and ensure the CHO cell culture process

 - Effective methods to reduce the negative impact on cell culture and metabolite profile during main culture stage

 - Effective strategies to minimize the lactate and pCO2 accumulation

· Title : Application of Large Scale N-1 Bioreactor Perfusion

· Speaker : SeungSun Lee

· Date : July 7, 14:20 - 14:45 pm

· Summary

: Continuous manufacturing is gaining attention throughout the industry. From our extensive experiences using fed-batch and N-1 perfusion processes, we learned there are different challenges and considerations that must be taken into account early on during the process development. This presentation is to share Samsung Biologics’ successful implementation of N-1 perfusion process to large scale and the key consideration factors for perfusion process development & Large-scale optimization, particularly focusing on design, installation, operation, and process simulation.
