Samsung Biologics to donate bioprocess materials to Seoul National University and Yonsei University
Samsung Biologics has signed a win-win donation agreement with Seoul National University and Yonsei University. After surveying academic research demand for cell culture media, Samsung Biologics decided to donate 1,090 kg of raw material (worth KRW 665 million).
As win-win cooperation is being emphasized for revitalizing the domestic life science ecosystem through development of talent and bioprocess infrastructure, Samsung Biologics is proactively supporting research activities. The company established a Co-Prosperity Cooperation Center to foster concrete communication and win-win opportunities.
"Supporting academic research is how Samsung Biologics can prosper with universities,” said Dongjoong Kim, Head of the Co-Prosperity Cooperation Center, "We will do our best to strengthen industry-academic cooperation by continuously seeking ways to support research activities."
