Samsung Biologics recognized for contribution to sustainability management with Korean Presidential Award
 

Samsung Biologics today received the highest Presidential Award for its contribution to sustainability management and industry competitiveness.

 

Hosted by Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy (MOTIE) and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the award is given to companies that have delivered societal value through sustainable management based on their environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. Samsung Biologics was recognized for its achievements in responding to climate change, bolstering workplace health and safety, and establishing a system for ESG and risk management.

 

“Samsung Biologics will continue implementing ESG strategies to support the greater industry as we address the largest public health crisis of our time,” said John Rim, CEO and President of Samsung Biologics. “We are committed to strengthening climate-resilient practices to help shape policy across the health sector.”
