Samsung Biologics hosts roundtable with Korean Labor Ministry for workplace safety
Samsung Biologics hosted a roundtable meeting with the Korean Ministry of Employment and Labor on further strengthening safety protocols to foster a safe working environment. Partner companies were invited to share their insights on how to better address safety and health concerns in the workplace, and Samsung Biologics and the Ministry pledged improvement measures, reaffirming their commitment for systematic management.
In May, Samsung Biologics and the Ministry signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalize their shared goal, and since have held joint campaigns to spread safe practices throughout the community.
“We will continue to lead efforts to enhance safety awareness within the biopharma industry so that it can positively impact the wider community,” said Kun Lo, Executive Vice President of Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Validation (EPCV) at Samsung Biologics.
