Incheon Mayor visits Samsung Biologics upon Plant 4 expansion
Park Nam-choon, Mayor of Incheon City, visited Samsung Biologics' manufacturing facilities upon the company's recent announcement for its Plant 4 and second Bio Campus. Dr. Tae Han Kim, CEO of Samsung Biologics, met with Mayor Park and government officials to further discuss the necessary governmental support for Samsung Biologics' upcoming expansion plans.
During the meeting, Mayor Park offered support from the city to successfully implement the company's R&D center, Open Innovation center, and also Asia's first state-run bioprocessing research and training institute with aims to further establish Songdo as a world-class biocluster.
